1st Day of Filming

On the first day of filming we recorded a lot of scenes and different types of shots. We managed to film all of Sams scenes and most of the drug deal scene. 

We had to retake a couple of shots because we either forgot what we had to do or we forgot the lines that we had to say. We also had to re-shoot some parts just so that when we had come back to edit the footage we would have a variety to choose from. 

One of the main reasons we didn't get as much footage on the first day is because we were trying to pick the best place to film. This didn't take up too much time, but because we were filming around 02:30pm we were interrupted a few times by parents walking by to go pick up their children from school. 

We ended it earlier than we had planned to because the wind was too much and we were all starting to get really cold. Before everyone had packed up all of the filming equipment we all planned and agreed when our next filming day was going to be so that we could finish shooting the rest of our thriller opening.

Designing/Making: Ident

This is the ident that my group decided to make. Azimul wanted to have a background picture of a clock or time. This was because he wanted to give anyone watching the film the idea that we spent a lot of time producing and editing it. We eventually came across this picture and decided to name ourselves "CITYTIME STUDIOS".

3rd Production Meeting

In our 3rd production meeting we imported all the footage that we had previously filmed and made a short 40 second video from it. After doing this we then discussed where we were going to film additional scenes and how we were going to film them.

Reviewing our first draft we noticed that we had to re-shoot some shots that we previously recorded because we were not happy with the outcome. So we planned when our next shooting session would be.     

Animatic

This a quick animatic of "The Exchange" that Azimul and I have made. It is a rough piece of work showing all of our shots that we have drawn.  

Location Sheet

This is the location that we will be filming our thriller opening. We chose this location because we think that we can include all the shots and chase scenes without any trouble.
