Designing/Making: A Title Sequence

In our group we included a title sequence in our media product. The title sequence was the last thing we did to our thriller. We tried to make it as professional as possible by including different names, roles and making the names appear on different sides of the screen.

Editing 1

This is our first editing draft and in this we decided to make our studio ident and import some more footage of our thriller opening. We also asked a few people to watch the edited piece of work and they told us on how we can improve. Since our thriller opening lasted 1 minute Azimul and I discussed on how we could film more footage to make it longer.

Chase scene
We have added some more footage to the chase scene and other shots of my character from the beginning leading to the chase scene. We have added different types of shots, but the next time that we go to shoot some more footage we are thinking of including more shots so that it can be more fast pace.

The end
We have added some footage for our ending, even though it was shorter than we had planned it to be. Azimul and I decided that we were going to extend the ending a bit so that the audience can understand what is going on.

First Draft/Evaluation

This is our draft of our film. As you can see it is not entirely finished yet, but we wanted to show it to an audience to get some feedback on how it was looking so far. Two of our audience members felt that they didn't quite understand how the first character and the two characters with the bag were connected. one person thought the scene with the two characters was meant to be a flashback!

Chase sequence
We are going to film some more footage of me chasing Sam at the end of the sequence.

Cross cutting
we are going to shoot some more footage on my way to meet the "boss" so we can cross cut between me walking and Sam walking so that the audience can understand that they are approaching the same place.

The end
We decided to change the ending and now I'm going to die in an accident and we'll have Sam live so that it the audience know that he has to get away because the "boss" is after him.
